A FACE LIFT FOR THE OLD GIRL
The building housing Chase Side Motors has been standing for a long time. In the war it saw rifles being made, doing its bit for the war. Then it was a Vauxhall dealership, selling motors. Some time after that it was Rapid Motors, in the ’70′s where Andrew worked for a time as a mechanic. He then rented the workshop for 2 years, finally buying it in 1982. Andrew painted it out when he bought it but cannot remember any paint being seen since!
So the old girl is having a little facelift (don’t want to spoil her too much) and it will be cleaner and healthier for workers and clients alike. So we thought we should document the change and let you, the customer see the changes happening. Hope you are happy with the end result!
Before we started it was a bit tired!……….
